Many consider Jeff the iconic ‘superstar DJ’, having been a regular on the club circuit before his radio and record company career. Jeff was A&R manager at Phonogram and A&R director at A&M and at MCA, where he worked with Texas, Cameo, Was Not Was, Kool and The Gang, Janet Jackson, Barry White, Bobby Brown, Mary J Blige and many more. His Friday night show "Big Beat" on BBC Radio One featured all styles of dance music and was the first of its kind on the BBC. His Sony Award-winning Saturday night "Club Culture" show on Capital Radio drew an audience greater than rival Radio 1 and Kiss FM programmes combined.
