Leena Bhatti
Leena started her career as assistant to the director of an independent record label and club promotion company. She then moved on to set up the in-house press department at Eagle Records, where she built up a database of 2000 press contacts in only 18 months and coaxed the godfather of soul, James Brown, out of the shadows to appear in the magazine Maxim. She has also worked with Nik Kershaw, Mark King (Level 42), Yes, Zakk Wylde, Clutch and Crowbar. In 2005, when offered the task of setting up the marketing and client liaison role at Masterpiece, it was a challenge she couldn’t resist.
